Text: Deuteronomy 12:23
“Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.”
Introduction:
Blood is sacred. It is not just red fluid flowing through veins; it is life itself. From the beginning of time, God marked blood as holy, never to be consumed, abused, or misused. But in this age, many have turned to blood rituals—drinking, bathing, and offering animal or even human blood to gain power, wealth, protection, or fame. These acts are not just dangerous—they are abominations before a holy God.
Blood Is Life—And Life Belongs to God
God said clearly: “The blood is the life” (Deut. 12:23).
When you take or drink blood, you are playing with life, and thereby offending the Giver of life.
Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) – “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls…”
Blood was only ever permitted in the context of atonement, not rituals of greed or sorcery.
We are witnessing a terrifying evolution of evil. This generation is no longer hiding its bloodlust — it glorifies it. We are raising people who believe:
You must betray to rise.
You must silence others to be heard.
You must step on others to climb.
The proverb "Eniyan ni eniyan ma je to fi ma je eniyan" is not just cultural — it has become spiritual warfare. It's being twisted to mean: “If you don’t kill a man’s potential, you can’t fulfill yours.”
This is a demonic gospel — the gospel of Cain, who couldn't shine beside Abel, so he shed his brother’s blood.
But God never designed men to succeed by swallowing others.
To young minister, church and body of Christ.
Don’t build altars with the bones of others.
Don’t fuel your ministry with envy, manipulation, or backstabbing.
Don’t become a murderer in the name of ambition.
When God raises a man, He does not need another to fall.
When God lifts a voice, He does not need another to be silenced.
Let the Church rise and reject this blood-drenched ideology.
Let young ministers rise with purity, not politics. Let success come by grace, not graves.
The Consequences of Using Blood for Rituals
a. Spiritual Defilement
Leviticus 17:10 – “And whatsoever man… that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul… and will cut him off from among his people.”
God sets His face against anyone who consumes blood. This is not just displeasure—it is divine hostility.
b. Curses and Demonic Bondage
Blood rituals are often sold as pathways to power, but behind them lies demonic contracts. You may get temporary fame or fortune, but you lose your soul.
Proverbs 6:16–17 – “These six things doth the Lord hate… hands that shed innocent blood…”
Such acts open doors to torment, nightmares, restlessness, insanity, and eventual destruction.
c. Eternal Condemnation
Revelation 21:8 – “…murderers, and sorcerers… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
To bathe or drink blood for rituals is to walk the road to hell unless repentance is sought.
The Good News: Jesus’ Blood Can Cleanse Yours
There is only one blood that can save and deliver—it is not the blood of goats or children, but the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Hebrews 9:14 – “How much more shall the blood of Christ… purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
No matter the depth of ritual involvement, the blood of Jesus has the power to wash you, redeem you, and give you a new life.
A Call to Repentance
To anyone reading or hearing this, who has participated in blood rituals—whether animal or human—know this: You are not beyond redemption.
Isaiah 1:18 – “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…”
Jesus is calling you to come out from the shadows of witchcraft, rituals, and darkness, and step into the light of His mercy.
1 John 1:7 – “The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
5. What You Must Do:
1. Confess your sins honestly to God (1 John 1:9).
2. Renounce every blood covenant, ritual, and demonic agreement.
3. Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
4. Seek deliverance and commit to godly fellowship.
5. Live a new life under the covering of the blood of Jesus.
Conclusion:
To drink blood is to drink judgment. To bathe in blood is to bathe in death.
But to believe in the blood of Jesus is to receive eternal life, forgiveness, and freedom.
God is not willing that any should perish, including the worst of ritualists. Today is the day of salvation. Reject the power of darkness. Come to the power of the cross.
Prayer of Repentance:
“Lord Jesus, I come to You in deep repentance. I confess that I have used blood in wicked ways. Forgive me. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. I renounce every covenant and ritual made in darkness. Break every chain and set me free. From today, I belong to You, and I will serve You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
