Text: Hebrews 11:2; Daniel 6:13–27
Theme: God will publicly announce many—some as warnings, others as testimonies.
Introduction
We are entering a time when the Lord is setting people on display—not just for blessings, but as examples. Some will be lifted and celebrated because they obeyed God and honored Him. Others will be exposed and shamed because they secretly rebelled, deceived, or oppressed others. You will be announced—either as a warning or as a testimony.
1. Hebrews 11:2 – “For by it the elders obtained a good report.”
This speaks of the record God keeps—whether in faith or in failure.
Men like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses were announced as testimonies of faith.
Their lives are not private; they became God’s headlines to the world.
Truth: You may live in secret, but God is watching in public. Soon, your life will speak—either to warn others or encourage them.
2. Daniel 6:13–27 – Daniel as a Testimony and His Accusers as a Warning
Daniel: The Testimony
Daniel was faithful, consistent in prayer, and refused to compromise.
He was announced to the king by wicked men, but God turned the accusation into promotion.
The lions' den did not destroy him because God was with him.
Verse 22: “My God sent His angel, and shut the lions' mouths…”
Daniel was publicly declared by King Darius:
“He is the living God... His kingdom shall not be destroyed... He delivers and rescues…” (v. 26–27)
The Accusers: The Warning
The men who falsely accused Daniel were judged. They were eaten by lions.
Their fate became a warning to others: Don’t touch God’s faithful ones.
MESSAGE TO YOUTH
Be like Daniel: fear God more than friends. Don’t follow peer pressure.
Youth who refuse to pray, seek God, or live holy will be announced as warnings when their secret sins are exposed.
Youth who walk in integrity, love Jesus, and pursue purpose will be announced as testimonies.
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
MESSAGE TO WOMEN
Be like the women of faith in Hebrews 11—Sarah, Rahab, and others who believed God.
Avoid becoming like Jezebel or Delilah—women whose lives are warnings of manipulation and rebellion.
In this season, women of prayer, purity, and purpose will be elevated publicly by God.
But those who destroy homes, cause division, or live double lives will be exposed publicly.
Proverbs 31:30: “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
Conclusion
You will be announced—as a warning or a testimony. What will God say of you? What will people learn from your life?
Let your life be a message of hope, not a memorial of failure.
Let heaven record your faith, not your fall.
Call to Action:
Youth: Rise up and pray like Daniel. Refuse compromise.
Women: Choose to be vessels of honor, not tools of destruction.
Everyone: Decide today to live a life that God can publicly use as a testimony.
