Celebrating Evang. Marian Folasade Odejobi — A Phenomenal Woman of Grace, Wisdom & Legacy
There are women, and there are Women of Impact, those whose presence reshapes destinies, whose counsel births leaders, and whose footprints stretch across generations. Today, we rise in honour of such a woman:
Evangelist Marian Folasade Odejobi is a mother to nations, a nurturer of greatness, and a vessel of divine excellence.
Like the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31, “Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her” (Proverbs 31:28). Truly, her life embodies this Scripture.
Born and named by a white nurse; a prophetic pointer that heavens acknowledged her glory at birth, she became ‘Folasade,’ meaning “honour wrapped in wealth.” Indeed, destiny spoke early, and today, her life is the manifestation of that name: wealth in honour, honour in character, and greatness in heritage.
Married to Pastor Olatoro Emmanuel Odejobi, the General Superintendent of the Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and overseas, she stands not in his shadow, but as his strength, crown, and complement.
Like two stars aligned in divine purpose, Folasade & Olatoro stand as a blended symphony of grace and glory.
Their union is proof that when God calls a man, He crowns him with a woman of substance—a helper, not a burden; a builder, not a breaker.

AN ANALOGY OF ROYAL FAVOUR: “THE CUTLASS THAT WIELDS WELL”
In Yoruba wisdom, it is said:
“Okunrin l’ada (the man is the cutlass.)”
But the one who handles the cutlass determines its effectiveness.
Over time, we have seen women mishandle this cutlass, turning strength to weakness. But not Folasade. She is a good cutlass manager indeed, worthy of the title “Madam” (Mo Ada Mu) the one who handles the cutlass expertly so that it produces good harvest.
Like Abigail, she brings wisdom into leadership.
Like Deborah, she leads with prophetic understanding.
Like Priscilla, she raises men unto greatness.
Where many women tear down with their hands, she builds with her voice, her presence, her heart, and her calling. Her ministry to women is a testimony, a legacy carved in stone and sealed in heaven.
HER IMPACT & LEGACY
She has raised women, refined destinies, encouraged broken vessels, and commanded armies of intercessors.
Her life reflects Proverbs 31:25:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”
Indeed, her laughter today is a reflection of victories won and battles conquered.
