Imagine this:
You have less than two hours to live.
The clock is ticking.
What would you do differently?
The Divine Clock: Understanding God's Timeline
If a day is like a thousand years in God’s eyes, then from creation to this very moment in 2025, not even three full “God-days” have passed. The oldest man in the Bible, Methuselah, lived 969 years—he didn’t even use up a full divine day. This should alarm us: human life is a vapor. Our earthly time is short.
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour...” — James 4:14
Time: The Most Expensive Currency of Heaven
Time is not just a ticking clock—it is the most precious seed we sow in the soil of eternity. You were not just born to pass time. You were created with a purpose, a divine assignment that must be accomplished within the time allocated to you.
Heaven must testify that you fulfilled it.
Earth must bear witness to your impact.
Eternity must welcome you home.
And yet, many—especially the youth—are wasting their lives on fleeting pleasures, vanity, and empty pursuits. You were not born to merely exist. You were born to live purposefully, meaningfully, and eternally.
Death: The Time Keeper
Death is not just an event—it is the final buzzer.
Once it rings, there are no second chances, no rewinds, no negotiations.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." — Hebrews 9:27
Only those who have Jesus will escape the second death—the everlasting death. For them, time will not end in tragedy but in glory.
To the Youth:
You think you have time. But what if you don’t?
Every moment spent outside of Jesus is a gamble with eternity.
Now is the time to hand over your dreams, your energy, your gifts, your life to Jesus—the only One who can make your end glorious.
"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…" — Ecclesiastes 12:1
To the Women:
You are not just caretakers of homes—you are gatekeepers of destinies.
Don’t waste time on trends and distractions that dilute your purpose. Rise as a Deborah, a Hannah, a Mary—mothers and women who birthed God's agenda on earth.
To the Men:
Leadership is not a title—it is responsibility.
You were created to lead in righteousness, to protect, provide, and proclaim God’s kingdom in every sphere.
Don’t trade your birthright for lust, greed, or applause. Return to the altar.
To Ministers and Church Leaders:
Be warned: popularity is not equal to impact.
Programs don’t replace presence.
Crowds don’t mean heaven’s approval.
Preach as if it's the last message your hearers will ever receive.
Build men, not empires.
Build the Kingdom, not your brand.
To Every Christian:
Time is the talent given to you by the Master. What are you doing with it?
Are you ready if the trumpet sounds today?
Jesus is calling you—yes, even now.
It is never too late to turn your heart, your time, your entire life over to the Master.
He gives beauty for ashes, and eternity for your vapor.
An Urgent Prayer of Rededication
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my time, my life, my plans, and my soul to You.
Teach me to number my days and apply my heart to wisdom.
Let my life count in eternity.
Use me for Your glory.
Let me not waste my days.
And when the clock of life stops,
let me hear You say, 'Well done.'”
Amen.
Final Charge:
Repent. Return. Redeem the time.
The clock is ticking, and the King is coming.
