ANOINTING WITHOUT MEASURE: STEPS, SACRIFICES, AND OUTCOME

INTRODUCTION

Anointing without measure is the fullness of God's power and presence operating in a person’s life without limitations. Jesus Christ demonstrated this anointing, moving in power, wisdom, and miracles beyond human comprehension. While many believers desire this level of anointing, few attain it because they lack understanding of the required steps, sacrifices, and the reasons why many are void of it.

STEPS TO RECEIVING THE ANOINTING WITHOUT MEASURE

1. New Birth and Total Surrender (John 3:5-6)

   • Only those who are born of water and the Spirit can access the fullness of God’s anointing.
   • Full surrender to God’s will is necessary to carry divine power without limit.

2. Intimacy with God (Exodus 33:13-14)

   • Moses desired to know God intimately, and this brought God's presence mightily upon him.
   • Spending quality time in prayer and fasting deepens our connection with God.

3. Purity and Holiness (Hebrews 1:9)

   • "Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."
   • Sin hinders the flow of anointing; purity is essential for unlimited anointing.

4. Obedience to Divine Instructions (Acts 5:32)

   • God gives His Spirit to those who obey Him.
   • Anointing grows when we walk in complete obedience to God’s voice.

5. Faith and Boldness (Acts 4:29-31)

   • The early church experienced an anointing without measure because of their faith and courage in preaching the Gospel.
   • Fear and doubt limit the operation of the Holy Spirit.

6. Death to Self and Absolute Consecration (Galatians 2:20)

   • A vessel carrying unlimited anointing must die to personal desires and live fully for Christ.
   • John the Baptist said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

SACRIFICES REQUIRED FOR ANOINTING WITHOUT MEASURE

1. Unwavering Prayer and Fasting (Luke 4:1-14)

   • Jesus fasted for 40 days before stepping into the fullness of His ministry.
   • The anointing is costly; it requires deep spiritual discipline.

2. Total Separation from the World (2 Corinthians 6:17)

   • Those who carry God’s power cannot live like ordinary men.
   • Samson lost his anointing because of compromise (Judges 16:20).

3. Sacrificial Giving and Service (Acts 10:38)

   • Jesus "went about doing good," and His anointing was evident.
   • Serving others sacrificially attracts greater dimensions of anointing.

4. Uncompromising Love for God and People (1 John 4:7-8)

   • Love releases the supernatural.
   • The anointing thrives in an atmosphere of divine love and compassion.

OUTCOME OF ANOINTING WITHOUT MEASURE

1. Supernatural Manifestation of God's Power (Acts 19:11-12)

   • Extraordinary miracles follow those with unlimited anointing.
   • Even handkerchiefs from Paul healed the sick.

2. Authority Over Demons and Sickness (Luke 10:19)

   • Jesus cast out demons with a word because He carried the fullness of the Spirit.

3. Unstoppable Kingdom Impact (Acts 2:41)

   • Thousands were saved in one sermon by Peter because of the anointing upon him.

4. Divine Acceleration and Favor (Esther 2:17)

   • Those with great anointing enjoy supernatural elevation and divine access.

WHY MANY LACK THIS ANOINTING

1. Lack of Deep Fellowship with God (Jeremiah 29:13)

   • Many desire power but not the presence of God.
   • They pray occasionally but do not tarry in God's presence.

2. Compromise and Sin (Isaiah 59:1-2)

   • Sin creates a barrier between man and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
   • Many people refuse to live consecrated lives.

3. Love for Material Things Over God (1 Timothy 6:10)

   • Some prioritize wealth and worldly pursuits above the Kingdom.
   • The love of money quenches the fire of the Spirit.

4. Fear and Doubt (James 1:6-7)

   • A double-minded person cannot receive from the Lord.
   • Faith is required to operate in unlimited anointing.

5. Lack of Spiritual Discipline (1 Corinthians 9:27)

   • Many refuse to fast, pray, or study the Word consistently.
   • Without discipline, the anointing remains limited.

CONCLUSION

Anointing without measure is available to those willing to pay the price. Jesus Christ walked in this dimension, and He promised that those who believe in Him would do even greater works (John 14:12). However, it requires deep intimacy, purity, total surrender, and unwavering obedience. Those who seek this anointing must be willing to sacrifice comfort, worldliness, and personal ambitions for the sake of the Kingdom.

Let us hunger and thirst for more of God so that we may walk in the fullness of His power, transforming lives and manifesting His glory upon the earth.

PRAYER:
"Lord, I desire to walk in Your anointing without measure. Purge me of anything that hinders Your power in my life. Help me to pay the price and live a life fully surrendered to You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
